Cost: $10 Members / $15 Non-Members; $20M/$25NM Families - All proceeds go directly to the Massabesic Audubon Center. Normally these hikes are free, but this one is a special fund raiser for the center, which has allowed us to use their property on several occasions.
Come along for a peaceful hike under the starry skies on the yellow trail in Auburn, nh. This hike is on an open, flat trail with some roots and rocks and almost no elevation gain. The halfway / turnaround is at Battery Point where we will have lake Massabesic on both sides and hopefully a clear view of the beautiful full moon.
Difficulty: This is a 3.1 mile round trip hike considered easy and mostly flat. Please bring extra water, a light source, and closed toed shoes.
Special: We will have a fire in the fire pit, marshmallows, hot cocoa, and fun. This is directly behind the center itself, so even those not wishing to hike can hang out by the fire and be with people under the full moon.
