Job Description:   

Position Title:   Sales Coordinator

Position Type: Part-time (16 hrs/week) with potential for growth

Compensation: $20/hour, plus merit based commission and bonus potential

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Become knowledgeable of all of Thrive Outdoors offerings and articulate their benefits to all new and existing clients.

  • Identify and track leads for new clients

  • Identify and track leads for expanding services to existing clients

  • Practice “relationship selling” with existing clients

  • Visit new and existing clients to establish and maintain relationships

  • Make 10-15 cold calls per month on new prospects

  • Work with Thrive Outdoors Marketing to develop new materials and initiatives

  • Work with Manchester Chamber of Commerce liaisons

  • Attend certain Manchester Chamber of Commerce events

  • Organize and lead the creation of presentations for Chamber of Commerce events

  • Act as the primary customer service contact for clients

  • Reports directly to project director

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum two years sales experience

  • Knowledge of a multi-step sales process (Prospecting, Preparation, Approach, Presentation, Handling objections, Closing and Follow-up.)

  • Knowledge and/or experience using a Sales Force Automation tool

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access

  • Ability to work well with minimal direction

  • Self-starter

  • Excellent team development and leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Willing to start part-time, but gradually build into a full-time role
